Junior Content Writer / Content Writing Intern

Storylabworks, a unit of Genval, is an agency that is rearing to create an impact driven by its transformative vision and offers a dynamic and rapidly growing startup agency experience. We have very many projects for some of the best in the industry covering a variety of work areas. We are on the lookout for creative and passionate individuals who may be recent graduates or freshers with limited experience but possess a strong desire to learn and contribute to our creative team.

GLDP is an exclusive leadership development track wherein we recruit interns and freshers with little or no experience and expose them to a variety of tasks that give them up to date practical knowledge and skill to thrive in the communication and creative industries. Content Writer’s RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create compelling and well-researched written content for digital platforms, including website copy, blog posts, social media content, email newsletters, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to understand brand messaging and audience personas, ensuring content aligns with overall marketing objectives.
• Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics and trends to produce informative and engaging content.
• Optimize content for SEO best practices to improve online visibility and drive organic traffic. Ability to plan and keep calibrating SEO in all of his/her work.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.

Content Writer candidate’s preferred Qualifications

Exceptional Writing Skills:

• Proficient in creating engaging content across various digital platforms.
• Strong grammar, vocabulary, and ability to convey complex ideas clearly.

Research Abilities:

• Skilled in conducting thorough research on industry-related topics.
• Capable of presenting findings in an engaging narrative.

Focus on Purpose:

• Ability to align content with brand messaging and audience personas.

SEO Skills:

• Familiarity with SEO best practices to optimize content for online visibility.

Editing & Proofreading:

• Attention to detail and strong editing skills for accuracy and consistency.

Adaptability & Time Management:

• Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.

Education & Experience:

• Relevant degree or experience in content writing or a related field.
• Portfolio showcasing quality written content across diverse formats.

Location

While some of us are working out of Chennai, we are quite flexible and have experience with the required setup to ensure efficient work-from-home operations with regular briefing sessions, feedback sessions, and team meetings, etc.
