Junior Graphic Designer / Graphic Designer Intern

Storylabworks, a unit of Genval, is an agency that is rearing to create an impact driven by its transformative vision and offers a dynamic and rapidly growing startup agency experience. We have very many projects for some of the best in the industry covering a variety of work areas. We are on the lookout for creative and passionate individuals who may be recent graduates or freshers with limited experience but possess a strong desire to learn and contribute to our creative team.

GLDP is an exclusive leadership development track wherein we recruit interns and freshers with little or no experience and expose them to a variety of tasks that give them up to date practical knowledge and skill to thrive in the communication and creative industries. This is a program that fast-tracks your career progression and is only meant for those who are keen to invest their time in mastering and emerge as most sought after in the industry

Graphic Designer’s RESPONSIBILITIES

As the graphic designer, you will join the founding team to create a recognized learning and coaching organization for the generations to come. The job roles are as follows:

  • Conceptualize and produce engaging visual content for social media platforms, including posts, stories, banners, and ads
  • Plan concepts by studying information and materials
  • Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
  • Create captivating designs and graphics optimized for video content, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality output
  • Complete projects by referring to in-house recommended tools and software
  • Maintain and further technical knowledge by e-learning, research & review professional publications, etc., and stay updated with social media trends, emerging design techniques, and tools to enhance content creation strategies

Graphic Designer candidate’s preferred QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Portfolio showcasing creative and well-executed design projects (academic projects, personal work, or internships are acceptable).
  • Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and understanding of emerging technology tools and platforms that help GDs in delivering quality work, quickly and easily (hard work + smart work).
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for staying up-to-date with design trends.

Location

While some of us are working out of Chennai, we are quite flexible and have experience with the required setup to ensure efficient work-from-home operations with regular briefing sessions, feedback sessions, and team meetings, etc.
